Carol Mangiagalli

Carol Mangiagalli is possibly South Africa’s foremost naïve artist whose whimsical, charming and colourful works reflect everyday rural, village or city life with a quirky sense of humour. Carol paints the frames for each work and eight of her artworks have graced the covers of the Portfolio Bed & Breakfast and Portfolio Retreats Collection between 2000 to 2011. She has exhibited in Cape Town at the Irma Stern Gallery in Rosebank, the National Art Gallery, and regularly at the Penny Dobbie Gallery in Tamboerskloof. Her works and commissions are much sought after in collections around the world.
